THERE ARE A NUMBER OF WAYS TO GET TO THE COLLEGE. MANY STUDENTS 'THINK GREEN' AND WALK, CYCLE OR USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO GET HERE 

For those students travelling by bus or train, you may be able to take advantage of the special rates offered by certain transport providers. Please see below for details of offers and how to get a bus or train pass. It is important that you research your proposed route to ensure that you get the best value for money. Please visit the College website to view the 2024/2025 price lists

To ensure you secure the student rate for bus and train tickets, you will need to provide your Student Reference number

16-17 Saver (Train TICKETS)

If you’re aged 16 or 17, you can enjoy 50% off standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Advance and Season train tickets. A 16-17 Saver is just £30 and is valid for one year or until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first. Click here to find out more!

Train PassES 

There are three train stations within a short walking distance of the College; Farnborough Main, Farnborough North and Frimley. 

Train passes are valid for the whole term including weekends and reading weeks. Tickets can only be used on specific routes when travelling to and from the College. 

Train passes can be purchased in advance, ready for the start date of term and can be ordered from the Student Services Office.  Application forms are available from our website.  Prices for 2024/25 can be found here.  Please contact the Student Services Office for a price if your station is not listed.

Payment must accompany your application form before your pass can be ordered. Please allow 7 to 10 working days for train passes to be processed. 

Bus PassES 

Stagecoach run safe, reliable, clean, punctual and comfortable local bus services across Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex, with some routes extending into Berkshire and Wiltshire. Stagecoach bus passes offer additional value as they can be used outside College hours, including in the holidays. You can also get unlimited travel in your chosen area - please visit the Stagecoach website here for more details.

Thames Valley Buses run a service from Bracknell travelling to Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Owlsmoor and Camberley.  2024/25 prices and route information will be available in the next few weeks.

Prices given are not necessarily the best value for money for some routes. Please note that you must always show your College ID card with your bus pass.

Surrey LINK CARD 


Surrey LINK - a bus discount card for under 20s from Surrey County Council.

The Surrey LINK Card allows young people, aged 20 and under the ability to travel for half price on single and return tickets for any journey that starts and/or finishes in Surrey.  The LINK Card is free, apply online from www.surreycc.gov.uk/surreylink.  All LINK Cards will be sent to the applicant's home address.
